Congratulations to our April Volunteer of the Month, Shauna Budjenska!

Shauna and her family are new to Glen Oaks this year, but she was eager to jump in, support the school, and get involved. She and her husband, Matt, have a daughter in first grade, Hannah, in Mrs. Walters' class, as well as a future Tiger, Bryn (4). She has enjoyed serving on the PTA Board, contributing to fundraising efforts, and assisting with the Winter Mixer Committee, gaining a strong appreciation for the PTA's impact while building relationships with staff and other parents. 

Shauna works in digital media and, outside of work, enjoys listening to audiobooks, chatting on any patio with friends while the kids play, and traveling to Colorado whenever possible. Both she and Matt are graduates of McKinney Boyd and are glad to be back in their hometown, raising their children alongside both old and new friends.
