COMMUNITY SERVICE 

 

Glen Oaks PTA partners with our sister school, Burks Elementary, to organize several events throughout the year for Burks students and teachers/staff.

 

Here is a tentative schedule of events and activities:

 

  • Gently Used Shoe and Coat Drive (Fall/Winter)
  • Burks Staff Appreciation event (Ongoing)
  • Gift Cards for Christmas groceries (November/December)
  • Burks Luncheon for Teacher Appreciation Week (May)

Funds in this committee budget will also be spent by the Committee Chairperson as needed for school supplies for Burks students.
