Why should I register on the Glen Oaks PTA Website?

glenoaks.membershiptoolkit.com is the website for the Glen Oaks PTA. The platform is called Membership Toolkit. This system allows you to sign up for volunteer opportunities, join the PTA, order items, make a donation, search our student directory, and more – in just a few simple online steps and without the PTA paperwork and check writing that used to consume your time at the beginning of the school year. Teachers and room parents may also use this system to communicate throughout the year.

I don't know the name of my child's teacher yet. Can I still register?

Yes! We hope you'll go online and create an account right away. Go to glenoaks.membershiptoolkit.com and click on register. You can even complete the PTA-related paperwork before Meet the Teacher so you'll have one less thing to worry about before school starts. Once you receive your child's teacher assignment, log back in and add that information next to your student's name.

Should my spouse/partner have a separate account? What if we want separate accounts?

When possible, we recommend creating a single account so that all information, including volunteer sign-ups, completed forms, purchases, and directory information, is stored in one place. When a primary user creates an account, there is a space to invite other email addresses to access the account. This secondary user will have their own login information, access to the family account, be listed in the directory, and receive communications from your child's teacher, room parents, and the PTA. Both adults on the account will be able to sign up for volunteer opportunities, make purchases, and complete forms for that student. Only two adults can be listed on one Membership Toolkit account.

For divorced or separated families, one family record can list two separate addresses and contact details – or each adult can register individually and be listed separately in the student directory. Note that if you register individually, there may be forms, such as the PTA membership form, that everyone must complete to have full access to the site.

What if my child has more than 2 adults who want access to the Glen Oaks PTA Website?

Membership Toolkit only allows two adults per account; however, multiple accounts can be linked to the same student. For families where more than two adults want to access the Glen Oaks PTA Website, you can create separate accounts. Note that if you create separate accounts, some forms, such as the PTA membership form, must be completed by someone from each account to have full access to the site.

Can non‑parents join the Glen Oaks PTA?

Yes — everyone is welcome to join the Glen Oaks PTA! Membership is not limited to parents or guardians. If you care about supporting Glen Oaks students, you can be a member.

Who can join:

  • Students (including our Tigers who want to represent and get involved)

  • Grandparents and extended family

  • Teachers and staff

  • Community members and neighbors

  • Local business owners

  • Anyone who wants to support our school

Every membership strengthens our ability to fund programs, host events, support teachers, and build a connected, joyful school community. You don't need to volunteer or attend meetings to make a difference - your membership alone helps our Tigers thrive.

Where can I find the PTA information from my child's back-to-school packet?

You'll be able to register for the student directory, purchase PTA memberships, order items throughout the year, make a donation, sign up for volunteer opportunities, order Spirit Wear, and more on our website. Just create an account on glenoaks.membershiptoolkit.com (click on the button on our home page), then go to My Account > My Forms.

I've registered on the Glen Oaks PTA Website, but I can't access the student directory.

To access the student directory, each account must have at least one PTA member. To purchase a PTA membership, complete the PTA membership form located within your child's forms list, which you will see when you log in to your account. If you have more than one child at Glen Oaks, you only need to join the PTA one time to have access to the student directory.

I changed my email address. How do I update my Membership Toolkit login?

To update your email address, log in to glenoaks.membershiptoolkit.com, then go to your Account Profile by clicking your name in the Login Box. Select the Access tab and complete the information in the "Invite Others" section to invite another email address to access your Account Profile. This is where you will put your new email address, but be sure to use your current password. Then, click "send invite" to receive an email at your new email address. Just click the link in that email to confirm your new email address, then you will be prompted to select a password for it. You can go back and delete your original email address by logging in with your new email address, then going to your Account Profile again and removing the old login email address from the record.

How can I change my password?

There are two ways to change your password –

  • If you are logged in to glenoaks.membershiptoolkit.com, click on your name in the Login Box at the top of your screen. This will take you to the Profile Menu, where you can manage almost everything about your account, including changing your password.
  • If you can't remember your password, click on "I forgot my password" on the login page. The system will ask you to enter your email address and send you an email with a link to reset your password.

Is there a mobile app for my phone?

The Membership Toolkit App is available for free in the App Store and on Google Play. Just search for "MembershipToolkit" and look for the Membership Toolkit icon. Once you download the app, you'll have access to our student directory and PTA calendar. You'll also be able to make purchases, sign up for volunteer opportunities, and complete forms.

If you are a first-time user or an inactive user, you must create or update your account through the website. If you log in and see an error message "no organizations available," or you do not see an organization that you should, go to that organization's Membership Toolkit website in your browser and log in there first.

What if I don't want my personal information visible to other users?

You can select which information is visible to other users when you register – and you can change it at any time. Even if you don't want your information seen by others, you'll still want to register so you can receive communications from your child's teacher and room parents, as well as the PTA e-newsletter, to stay up to date on everything happening at our school.
