National Engineers Week (or EWeek for short) is every February.

2021 Update: Meet some modern day scientists and engineers who are changing the world!

WHO are engineers?  WHAT do they do?

CURIOUS.

That's what it takes.  Engineers are curious.  They want to understand how things work, why they fail, and how to makes things better.

PROBLEMS SOLVERS.

Engineers solve problems every day.  Big and small.  Sometimes on their own but usually as part of a team.

PERSISTENT.

Engineers do not give up.  If their first idea or their twentieth idea does not work, they keep trying.

Students and teachers were given a Google Form so that they could tell us what they wanted to know about engineers.  They had amazing questions...and lots of them!  The kids are curious.

There were three questions asked repeatedly by the students.  So we put together some information to answer these questions.

Click on each question for some answers.
